Employment Assistance Resources

Looking for work? Local Companies are hiring!

Due to the unprecedented impact of COVID-19 on Buffalo's workforce, we've developed a list of resources for those who may be unemployed, or those seeking additional assistance. We care about our people, and will continue to help our neighbors through this difficult time.

If you are looking for work, call the Buffalo Employment and Training Center at 856-JOBS. Employment counselors are available for remote one-on-one counseling sessions.
Although some businesses have closed, others are experiencing a labor shortage. The BETC continues to provide career and referral services to our customers. We welcome inquiries from all Western New York job-seekers and employers
Please note: the BETC has established a virtual office!  Access to job counselors are available via telephone at 716.856.5627 and via video conferencing from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
